ONE Gas announced this week an increased dividend for the first quarter of 2022.
The board of directors approved a 4-cent increase per share to 62 cents per share. The resulting annualized dividend would be $2.48 per share according to the company’s announcement.
The dividend is payable March 11, 2022, to shareholders of record at the close of business Feb. 25, 2022.
The company expects an average annual dividend increase of 6% to 8% through 2026, with a target dividend payout ratio of 55% to 65% of net income, subject to its board of directors’ approval.
ONE Gas, headquartered in Tulsa provides energy to more than 2.2 million customers in Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas and its divisions include Kansas Gas Service, the largest natural gas distributor in Kansas, Oklahoma Natural Gas, the largest in Oklahoma and Texas Gas Service, third largest in Texas.
