Sierra Club says SWEPCO’s plans aren’t good enough

The Sierra Club is critical of Southwestern Electric Power Co.’s plan to extend the life of an Arkansas coal plant to 2038 without providing an economic analysis of retiring it a decade sooner.

The group responded after SWEPCO, a utility of American Electric Power recently released its Integrated Resource plan reported KUAR radio.
