A University of Kansas professor and expert in transportation policy who studied why EV owners dump their vehicles says it had a lot to do with dissatisfaction with what else—the charging capability–or lack thereof.
It’s the finding of Bradley Lane, associate professor of public affairs & administration at KU.
Owners who abandoned their battery-powered EVs reported they were most likely dissatisfied with home charging capability, especially with the ability to rapidly charge at home he found according to a report in T&D World.
