A member of the family that owned the King Ranch in South Texas has declared his candidacy for state land commissioner.
Jay Kleberg, a conservationist and filmmaker says he intends to fight climate change and preserve the state’s 13 million acres of public land reports the Corpus Christi Caller Times.
