Mullin—Biden’s energy policies are hurting America

Oklahoma congressman Markwayne Mullin is reminding President Biden to put America first when it comes to its energy industry.

He and 145 Republican Representatives wrote the President this week urging him to reverse his anti-American agenda and put the best interest of our country and economy first. Oklahoma Reps. Tom Cole, Kevin Hern and Frank Lucas also signed the letter.

In his most recent “Mullin It Over” column to his constituents, Rep. Mullin charged that the President’s energy policies continue to hurt the country.

“Gas prices are at a seven-year high and President Biden looked to OPEC+, which includes many of our foreign adversaries, to produce more oil instead of calling on American energy producers to help.

This week, I joined 145 of my Republican colleagues in sending a letter to Biden to reverse his anti-American agenda and put the best interest of our country and economy FIRST. You can read the full letter here.

The Biden Administration has continued to hurt American energy producers and labor unions are taking notice. Included in the proposed $3.5 trillion tax and spend spree, Biden’s Clean Energy Performance Program (CEPP) would all but wipe out the fossil fuel industry here in America and further force our dependence on foreign suppliers. It is time to put our country first, not last.”
