Texas regulators took a recent move that will increase restrictions and the ability of oil and gas companies to do more flaring of gas from their wells.
Texas Railroad Commissioners voted to limit an oil driller to flaring gas for just one year—not two as requested by the industry reported the Midland Reporter Telegram.
