Authorities in Pueblo, Colorado are exploring the possibility of nuclear power to replace an Xcel Energy coal-fired power plant that is slated to be shut down in 20 years.

The Pueblo Chieftain reports County Commissioners are taking a serious look at nuclear energy as a potential replacement.
