Iowa biofuels firms voice their displeasure with last week’s U.S. Supreme Court ruling that was in favor of at least one southern Oklahoma refinery that objected to being forced to mandatory Renewable Fuel Standard blending.
It was considered a major win for CVR Refinery at Wynnewood and others but in Iowa’s corn country where ethanol is a major industry, it wasn’t well received.
As the Globe Gazette reported, ethanol supporters took issue with the ruling.
