Crude oil prices took another tumble on Tuesday and Oklahoma energy stocks for the most part did the same.
West Texas Intermediate crude for September delivery finished down 26 cents at $71.65 a barrel.
Global benchmark Brent crude for September delivery fell 2 cents to settle at $74.48 a barrel in trading on ICE Futures Europe.
The drop in prices also led Oklahoma energy stocks down the same path with Laredo Petroleum sliding nearly 7%. A few stocks such as OGE and ONE Gas managed slight gains.
