Just a few weeks after Oklahoma regulators were told of what was described as a “dangerous windfarm” with damaged and dilapidated wind turbines in the Panhandle, the wind industry was rocked with the closing of a wind blade manufacturing plant in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
More than 300 workers and their families will lose their jobs with the closing of the Molded Fiber Glass plant marking another major loss of energy jobs in the state following President Joe Biden’s halting of the Keystone pipeline on the first day of his administration reported by journalist Salena Zito.
