Tribe’s lawsuit over Dakota Access pipeline tossed from court

 

The lawsuit filed by the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe in a challenge to the operation of the Dakota Access Pipeline was dismissed this week by a federal judge.

U.S. District Judge James Boasberg tossed the tribe’s suit but at the same time outlined a path for a future legal challenge to an ongoing environmental review reported the Associated Press.
