Rep. Mullin goes after Biden’s latest hit on oil and gas

Oklahoma Congressman Markwayne Mullin isn’t easing up on his attacks of President Biden’s decisions against oil and gas operations.

His latest volley came after Biden stopped oil and gas leasing in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and Rep. Mullin was interviewed on Fox Business News.

Mullin followed up in his newsletter to constituents stating the fallout of Biden’s “series of reckless executive orders” that directly attacked American energy has been immense. The Republican Representative said the attacks resulted in increased gas prices, the elimination of thousands of good-paying energy jobs and an increased dependence on foreign oil.

This week, President Biden took another hit on the American energy sector by suspending oil and gas leasing in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, and experts are estimating that as many as one million jobs will be lost as a result of his ban on oil and gas leasing on federal lands.

Mullin stated that the President fails to understand that energy is the backbone of the U.S. economy.

“Instead, he is doubling down on his socialist agenda by catering to environmentalists instead of prioritizing American energy and American jobs. His attack on American energy is putting our national security at risk, in addition to skyrocketing consumer costs,” wrote Rep. Mullin.

“I joined Fox Business this week to discuss the fallout of President Biden’s disastrous energy agenda.”
