Biden to revise Trump’s water protection plan

Former President Trump’s rollback of WOSA, an Obama-era plan fought by farmers and ranchers in Oklahoma and other farming states will be reversed by President Biden and his EPA and Army Corps of Engineers.

The Environmental Protection Agency and the Army made the announcement Wednesday saying they reviewed Trump’s Navigable Waters Protection Rule and determined his administration had “significantly” reduced clean water protections.

Reuters reported the Department of Justice will now a motion requesting remand of the rule, which has been facing court challenges.
