SandRidge Energy shareholders held their annual meeting last week with a record amount of shares of common stock outstanding.
The company reported a total of 36,507,402 shares and a total of 22,783,390 shares or 62% were present at the 2021 annual meeting by proxy or in person according to a SandRidge Energy filing with the Securities Exchange Commission.
Shareholders elected six directors to serve on the Board of Directors and they will serve one-year terms. The directors are: Patricia Agnello, Jaffery A. Firestone, Jonathan Frates, Carl F. Giesler, Jr., John Lipinski, and Randolph C. Read.
Shareholders also approved a compensation plan for the company leadership. The vote was 15,622, 985 in support of the plane while the opposed totaled 523,646.
The SandRidge Tax Benefits Preservation Plan was approved on a vote of 15,375,252 in favor and 787,195 against.
Shareholders also ratified the appointment of Deloitte as the company’s auditors for the fiscal year ending Dec. 31, 2021.
