These Five Companies are Reinventing the US Frac Fleet
Primary Vision Inc., a firm that tracks data on frack crews says a 400% increase in the number of fracking crews working in the nation still isn’t enough to boost oil output to soaring levels.

After an 85% tumble in the number of crews completing wells during the depths of the pandemic, the figure has steadily recovered over the past year according to a report by Bloomberg. It now stands at 235, up from 45 on May 22, 2020 and a growing number are in Oklahoma where completions increased this spring with the slow end of the COVID pandemic.
