Another day, another slip in crude oil prices and analysts blamed increasing COVID-19 infections in India for the slide.
West Texas Intermediate crude fell 92 cents or 1.4% to $64.71 a barrel in trading on the NYMEX.
Global benchmark Brent crude finished down 87 cents for a 1.3% loss to $68.09 on ICE Futures Europe.
Both benchmarks hit their highest since mid-March on Wednesday before retreating.
Oklahoma energy stocks went down too and Laredo Petroleum had the biggest loss at 16.24% as its shares fell $7.05 to $36.37.
Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. went up 3 cents for a 0.52% gain to $5.85.
Blueknight Energy Partners LP fell 4 cents for a 1.15% loss to $3.43.
Chesapeake Energy rose 77 cents for a 1.65% gain to $47.51.
Cimarex Energy Co. dropped $1.31 for a 1.86% loss to $69.02.
Continental Resources Inc. fell one cent to $29.28 for a loss of 0.034%.
Cypress Environmental Partners LP rose 12 cents for a gain of 5.24% to $2.31.
Devon Energy Corp. increased 5 cents for a 0.20% gain to $25.27.
Enable Midstream Partners LP finished up 16 cents for a 2.08% gain to $7.85.
Gulfport Energy Corporation lost 12.55% to finish at $0.048 cents.
Helmerich & Payne Inc. rose 23 cents to $28.40 for a gain of 0.82%.
LSB Industries, Inc. finished down 3 cents at $5.88 for a loss of 0.51%.
Magellan Midstream Partners, LP increased 74 cents for a 1.57% gain to $47.77.
Mammoth Energy Services Inc. fell 21 cents for a 5.48% loss to $3.62.
Matrix Service Co. closed up 27 cents at $13.79 for a 2% gain.
NGL Energy Partners LP dropped one cent to $2.12 for a loss of 0.47%.
OGE Energy Corp. finished up 60 cents at $34.02 and a gain of 1.80%.
ONE Gas Inc rose 33 cents to $78.10 for a gain of 0.42%.
ONEOK Inc. closed up 26 cents for a 0.49% gain to $53.41.
Ovintiv Inc. was unchanged at $26.01.
PHX Minerals Inc. fell12 cents for a 4% loss to $2.88.
SandRidge Energy dropped 19 cents for a 4.23% loss to $4.30.
Unit Corporation was unchanged at $13.
Williams Companies Inc. finished up 6 cents for a 0.24% gain to $24.97.
