European wind farm operator sues state of Texas

Lawsuit Targets Fiduciary Failures of One of the 'Most Expensive' 401k  Plans in U.S. - 401K Specialist

 

A Germany utility with operations in Texas has filed suit against the state for its handling of the power markets during the February winter storm.

Wind-park owner RWE contends the intervention in the power markets by the Public Utility Commission of Texas cost the firm nearly $500 million. The lawsuit was also filed against the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, the nonprofit that operates the power grid in Texas.
