Crude oil prices were far from energetic in Tuesday’s trading as U.S. benchmark crude rose only a few cents while overseas prices managed a slight increase.
West Texas Intermediate crude for July delivery rose 2 cents to reach $66.07 a barrel in trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Global benchmark Brent crude for July delivery went up 19 cents to $68.65 a barrel in ICE Futures Europe.
June natural gas rose 2 cents to $2.91 per 1,000 cubic feet.
Some Oklahoma energy stocks suffered significant losses for the day. LSB Industries, Inc. lost 6.89% on a 45 cent fall to $6.08 per share.
