Crude oil prices move closer to $70 in Europe

Oil prices move higher as fears of COVID-19 continue - BIC Magazine

 

Crude oil prices took another bounce up in Monday’s trading and reached closer to $70 overseas.

Global benchmark Brent crude for July deliver went up 75 cents and closed for the day at $69.46 a barrel on ICE Futures Europe.

In the U.S., West Texas Intermediate crude for July delivery rose 90 cents and ended the day at $66.27 a barrel in trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

June natural rose 15 cents to $3.11 per 1,000 cubic feet.

Most Oklahoma energy stocks saw gains for the day as crude oil prices made their leaps upward. The biggest jump of the day was the 15.82% gain recorded by Laredo Petroleum Inc when its shares rose $6.60 to finish at $48.31. Laredo announced last week its $715 million acquisition of Sabalo Energy LLC.

Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. gained 6.05% on a 37 cent jump to $6.49.

Blueknight Energy Partners LP gained 1.68% as shares rose 6 cents to $3.63.

Chesapeake Energy rose $1.12 for a 2.29% gain to $49.99. Cimarex Energy Co. went up $2.76 for a 3.86% gain to $74.25.

Continental Resources, Inc. gained 1.52% on a 48 cent rise to $31.96.
Cypress Environmental Partners LP fell 10 cents for a 4.35% loss to $2.20.
Devon Energy Corp finished up 81 cents at $27.19 for a 3.05% gain.
Enable Midstream Partners LP closed up 34 cents for a 3.99% gain to $8.87.
Gulfport Energy Corporation gained 4.10% to close at $0.046 cents.
Helmerich & Payne, Inc. rose $1.37 to $30.71 for a 4.67% gain.
LSB Industries Inc. gained 6.10% on a 38 cent increase to $6.61.
Magellan Midstream Partners, LP went up 71 cents for a 1.45% gain to $49.79.
Mammoth Energy Services finished up 3 cents at $3.14 for a 0.96% gain.
Matrix Service Co fell 35 cents for a 2.77% loss to $12.09.
NGL Energy Partners LP rose 9 cents for a 4.21% to $2.23.
OGE Energy Corp. fell 61 cents to $33.79 for a 1.77% loss.
ONE Gas Inc dropped $1.60 for a 2.11% loss to $74.20.
ONEOK Inc. rose 65 cents to $55.01 for a 1.20% gain.
Ovintiv Inc. finished up 70 cents at $26.87 for a 2.67% gain.
PHX Minerals Inc. slipped 14 cents to $2.92 for a 4.58% loss.
SandRidge Energy Inc. rose 28 cents to $5.35 for a 5.52% gain.
Unit Corporation settled up 25 cents at $14.75 and a 1.72% gain.
Williams Companies Inc. closed at $26.53 after a 65 cent increase and a 2.51% gain.
