Colorado residents brace for higher costs over state’s transportation plan

Colorado’s green transportation plan unveiled this week by Gov. Jared Polis will mean those who live in the state will pay more for gasoline, grocery deliveries, ride-sharing services and electric vehicles.

Someone has to pay for the $5.3 billion plan meant to improve state roads, rails and transit for the next 10 years.

Axios reported the 197-page plan pushed by Democrats seeks to overhaul how the state spends money on its transportation system.
