The “Now Hiring” sign is out in Claremore including the Baker Hughes operation where the company wants to fill at least 60 jobs.
The Claremore Industrial & Economic Development Authority announced Baker Hughes and several other firms are looking to make hires, something that could prove difficult as witnessed nationwide because so many people have been receiving government assistance.
The announcement stated that the city of Claremore was “experiencing a time of unprecedented growth and development’ and with it comes an increase in available career opportunities.

- Variable Speed Drives Motor Control Engineer

Other firms are looking to make hires.
AXH Air-Coolers advertised for welders.
CF Industries has a variety of open positions including IT, lab and engineering.
Machinists are needed at MST Manufacturing. Programmers and machinists are being sought at Pryer Aerospace.
Reading Truck Body in Claremore is also looking for welders, material handlers, machine operators, inspectors and painter technicians.
