Slow drilling efforts in Oklahoma

 

As the oil and gas industry struggles to resume drilling in Oklahoma, its latest efforts are revealed in the completion reports on file with the Corporation Commission.

Crawley Petroleum Corporation reported the January 31, 2021 completion of a Major County well that had production of 468 barrels of oil a day and 1,886 Mcf of natural gas.

The Bowers 5-28mh had a depth of 13,910 feet in the Mississippian and is located at 21 20N 14W which is about 3 miles northwest of Lake Canton. The well had a Dec. 2, 2020 spud date and drilling finished 21 days later.

Drilling permits were recently approved for Continental Resources to drill the BEAR CREEK ##1 SWD, two miles southeast of Ratliff City in Carter County.

BCE-Mach III LLC received a permit in Kingfisher County for the  RIGDON 34-18-5 #1H at 34 18N 5W which is a site 7 miles northwest of Crescent.

LDO LLC has a permit to drill three wells on a single pad at 12 21N 12E in Tulsa County. The CWU #13 wells will be a few miles northeast of Sperry.
