OEPA to feature legislative briefing

 

The Oklahoma Energy Producers Alliance is planning a legislative briefing later in the month for its members.

Formed several years ago to promote and protect rights of vertical oil  and gas producers, the organization announced it will hold a virtual call on Wednesday, Jan. 27 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Its announcement said the call will be held to “discuss current issues of the oil and gas industry.”

The 58th Oklahoma legislature will convene  at 12 p.m. on Feb. 1 and legislative leaders, Republican and Democrat have said their focus will be on issues related to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The State House and Senate set a Jan. 21 deadline of 4 p.m. for legislators to introduce bills.
