Records show Devon Energy is among those energy companies feeling good enough about the economy to do some exploration in Oklahoma’s STACK play.
The company received four permits to drill this week reflecting plans for a four-well single-pad well to be drilled in Blaine County. The DICKSON 21_16-15N-10W wells will be located at
21 15N 10W which is a site approximately six miles northeast of the community of Greenfield.
For those unfamiliar with Greenfield, the Devon drilling site is about 9 miles southeast of the city of Watonga.
It will be drilled into the Mississippian play at a depth of about 21,000 feet.
