Oklahoma oil and gas industry leaders are far from being alone in their nervousness over what a Biden administration means for them. After all, it is a place where Oklahoma City-based Continental Resources became a major player in oil production.
Same in North Dakota where they too are filled with anxiety about his proclaimed targeting of fossil fuels and the support he received from environmental activists who want to eliminate the industry.
In North Dakota, more than 1 million barrels of oil a day is pumped out of the ground and the Bismarck Tribune reported that the head of the state’s Petroleum Council believes we’ll know Biden’s intent based on who he appoints to key posts in his Cabinet.
