Energy stocks just can’t seem to get much of a break in development of a string of successive increases in trading. Thursday was no different as it proved to be like riding a teeter-totter. Some went up. Some went down.
Alliance Resources Partners dropped 2.50% or 7 cents to slide to $2.73 per share. Blueknight Energy Partners rose a penny for a 1% increase to $1.35. Chesapeake Energy ended up 9 cents for a 2.30% gain to $4.
Continental Resources Inc. jumped 34 cents for a 2.57% increase to $13.56. Cypress Environmental Partners finished up 6 cents for a 2.83% gain to $2.18. Devon Energy added a dime for a $1.07 increase to $9.42
Enable Midstream Partners dropped 7 cents for a 1.44% decline to $4.78. Helmerich and Payne slid 9 cents for about a 1% tumble to $14.93. LSB Industries Inc. finished at $2.22, down 12 cents for a 5.13% drop.
Laredo Petroleum finished up one cent at $9.29. Magellan Midstream Partners slipped 1% or 28 cents to finish at $37.24. Mammoth Energy Services wrapped up the day with a one cent gain or about 1% to $1.72.
Matrix Service Co. lost a dime or 1.21% and fell to $8.15. NGL Energy Partners lost 11 cents for a 2.55% slide to $4.21 per share. OGE Energy finished up 53 cents for a 1.71% gain to $31.45.
ONE Gas lost 19 cents and fell to $73.39. ONEOK finished down 13 cents at $29.82. Ovintiv Inc. gained 9 cents for a 1% increase to $9.73.
Panhandle Oil and Gas ended the day down 6 cents for a 3.53% loss to $1.64. SandRidge Energy had a 1.19% or 2 cent gain to $1.70.
WPX Energy settled up 4 cents for a 1% gain to $4.82 per share. Williams Cos. finished up 3 cents at $19.71.
