Oklahoma Corporation Commissioners will hold another virtual meeting Thursday because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The pandemic has led Commissioner Bob Anthony to call for a discussion and consideration of new aspects of whether the Commission’s headquarters should be opened for “in-person” hearings.
His posting for the meeting called to “determine the extent to which and under what circumstances, without virtual or remote options, OCC staff members, especially those medically at-risk, are encouraged, required and/or expected to attend physically so-called “in-person” contested OCC hearings….”
The commission will also consider a possible vote on a fourth extension of its response to the corona virus pandemic which resulted in the closing of the headquarters to the public.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m.
