Investors wonder if losses will improve for Phillips 66 in the coming 3Q results

 

Phillips 66 and Phillips 66 Partners plan a release of their third quarter 2020 financial results on Friday, Oct. 30 and investors wonder if there will be continued improvement after massive first and second quarter losses.

Results will be released early in the day and executive management will hold a conference call webcast at 11 a.m. Central Time to discuss the results. They will also provide an update on the company’s strategic initiatives.

Phillips 66 suffered a second-quarter loss of $141 million or 33-cents a share while the adjusted loss totaled $324 million and 74 cents per share.

The company had a first quarter loss of $2.5 billion and adjusted earnings of $450 million.
