** Exxon Mobil Corp.  reported that it has made its 18th discovery offshore Guyana at the Redtail-1 well, located on the Stabroek Block.According to ExxonMobil, Redtail-1 encountered approximately 232 feet of high-quality oil-bearing sandstone and was drilled in 6,164 feet  of water. The well is located approximately 1.5 miles northwest of the Yellowtail discovery, the supermajor noted.

** General Motors announces a deal giving it a $2 billion stake in electric truck maker Nikola that will eventually reduce costs for both companies and help GM commercialize its EV technology.
