A weak Wednesday for energy companies and their trading

 

Despite a slight jump in oil futures in the U.S. and Europe, energy companies in Oklahoma or those with operations in the state for the most part saw a drop in the values of their shares in Wednesday’s trading.

Alliance Resource Partners had a 3 cent or nearly 1% drop to $3.05. Blueknight Energy Partners LP dropped 2 cents or 1.36% to $1.45. Chesapeake Energy Corporation had a 5 cent or 1% increase to $5.05 per share.

Continental Resources ended Wednesday up 23 cents or 1.66% at $14.36. Cypress Environmental Partners slipped 3 cents or 1.38% to $2.15. Devon Energy ended down 4 cents or 0.47% to $9.58.

An increase of one-half of one cent to $4.72 was recorded by Enable Midstream Partners. Helmerich and Payne saw its shares drop 21 cents or 1.39% to $14.93. LSB Industries declined 10 cents or 4.85% to $1.96.

Laredo Petroleum shares slipped 7 cents or 0.59% to $12.61. Magellan Midstream Partners experienced a 39 cent drop or 1.04% to $36.99. Mammoth Energy Services jumped 8 cents for a 5.16% gain to $1.63.

NGL Energy Partners ended Wednesday’s trading down 7 cents for a 1.86% decline to $3.69. OGE Energy Corp rose 21 cents or 0.68% to $31.08. ONEOK Inc. shot up 33 cents or 1.26% to $26.48.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ovintiv Inc. slipped half a cent to $9.43. Panhandle Oil and Gas finished down 3 cents for a 1.66% slide to $1.78. SandRidge Energy gained one cent to $1.67.

WPX Energy added 3 cents for a 0.64% gain to $4.74. Williams Companies Inc. finished the day up 54 cents for a 2.64% gain to $21.02.
