Oklahoma firms among the country’s 5,000 fastest growing

At least 19 Oklahoma companies made the newly-released Inc. 5000 list of the country’s fastest-growing privately held companies.

The top-ranked Oklahoma firm is Arete Acquisitions, LLC of Norman, a mineral and royalty acquisition company formed in 2010 by four partners.

Justin Burgess, a landman and attorney is one of the founders and also the Chief Executive Officer. The firm is ranked number 89 on the list of 5,000.

The Inc. 5000 ranks companies by overall revenue growth over a three-year period. All 5,000 honoree companies are individually profiled on Inc.com. The top 500 are featured in the September issue of Inc. Magazine, the leading entrepreneurial advocate for 38 years running. Companies are ranked according to the percentage growth of their annual revenue over a three-year period.

OneTrust, a software company based in Atlanta was ranked number one because of its three-year growth of 48,377%.

Insights to Behavior, an education company based in Oklahoma City is ranked 312 on the list. It had growth of 1,452% over the three year period.
