Devon completes 4 wells with combined production of nearly 2,700 barrels of oil a day

 

While many oil and gas companies have shut-in some of their producing wells, Devon Energy has just completed four wells on a single pad site with combined production of nearly 2,700 barrels of oil a day.

The STACK wells are located at 17 16N 9W in Kingfisher County and had spud dates of late March 2019. The site of the multi-well site is about 7 miles southwest of the town of Loyal.

But the completions of the Privott 17_20 16n-9w wells were not made until March 2,3,4 and 5, 2020.

The first well had production of 426 barrels of oil a day and 1,876 Mcf of natural gas from a depth of 19,529 feet in the Mississippian (Less Chester) formation.

The second Privott well produced 592 barrels of oil a day and 1,605 Mcf of natural gas at a drilling depth of 19,267 feet. The third well had production of 699 barrels of oil a day and 1,729 Mcf of natural gas from a depth of 19, 643.

The final well produced 982 barrels of oil a day and 2,262 Mcf of natural gas from a drilling depth of 19,724 feet.

Roan Resources also filed completion reports on three wells in Grady County but each well was at a separate location. One well, located at 18 9N 5W produced 370 barrels of oil a day and 2,094 Mcf of natural gas.

A well at 4 9N 5W produced 46 barrels of oil a day and 399 Mcf of natural gas while a third Roan well, located at 11 9N 6W produced 150 barrels of oil a day and 3,350 Mcf of natural gas.

Continental Resources reported completion of another Grady County well with production of 130 barrels of oil a day and 311 Mcf of natural gas. The well is located at 13 7N 6W.
