Energy company leader recovers from COVID-19

After a bout with COVID-19, Murphy Oil Corporation President and Chief Executive Officer Roger W. Jenkins is back on the job.

It was a few weeks ago when the El Dorado, Arkansas-based company announced that Jenkins had taken ill with the coronavirus and was taking a medical leave of absence.  This week, the company said he has recovered and resumed responsibilities.

David R. Looney, who assumed Jenkins responsibilities during his leave of absence returned to his day-to-day role as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
