Sister wells produce more than 5,200 barrels of oil for Devon Energy

Oklahoma City’s Devon Energy is riding high after reporting not one but three sister wells this week with combined production of more than 5,200 barrels of oil a day out of the STACK play.

We initially reported the company had one Everett 12_1-15n-11w well with production of 1,578 barrels a day at the site located at 12 15N 11W or six miles southeast of Watonga.

But a day later, Devon filed completion reports on two more wells drilled from the same pad, one with production of 1,890 barrels of oil a day and the second with 1,756 barrels of oil a day in production. That makes for a combined production of 5,224 barrels of oil a day from all three wells.

The largest producer had 1,890 barrels of oil a day along with 4,047 Mcf of natural gas from a depth and length of 21,208 feet according to its completion report. The well had a January 2019 spud date. Drilling finished in March and completion was made in June 2019.

The second well had production of 1,756 barrels of oil a day and 3,822 Mcf of natural gas. It was spudded in January 2019 and drilling finished in April followed by completion in June of 2019. The completion report showed its drilling length and depth was 21, 167 feet in the Mississippian formation.
