Rep. Mullin was part of Trump’s California water announcement

When President Trump recently announced a move to free up more water availability for California farmers, Oklahoma Congressman Markwayne Mullin and his son were there for the event. And Mullin’s son was honored too.

“As many of you know, my son Jim is recovering from a wrestling injury and undergoing treatment in Bakersfield, California. On Wednesday, Jim and I were honored to attend President Trump’s event where he highlighted the need for better water accessibility in California,” wrote Rep. Mullin in his weekend update for constituents.

“He called us up on stage and we joined him during a signing of a presidential memorandum that gives farmers in California the ability to use the water they have,” continued the Republican Representative.

“President Trump even gave Jim the pen! It was a very special moment that we will never forget. Thank you, President Trump!”

The President presented him with the pen immediately after signing the measure.

“This is a big step.  Where is Jim?  Where’s Jim?  That’s yours, Jim.  (Applause.)  Thank you, fellas,” said the President.

“Thank you, everybody.  (Applause.)”
