New Information Technology chief has years of energy industry experience

An I-T expert with years of experience in the state’s energy industry has been named by Governor Kevin Stitt to be the new head of I.T. for state government.

Jerry Moore is the state’s new Chief Information Officer.

 

“Throughout his career, Jerry has exhibited his expertise in the design and management of high-performance, cost-effective technology solutions,” said Stitt. “His expertise is exactly what we need to continue to improve services across state government and move Oklahoma forward.”

Moore has been working as the Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) director of I.T. applications services since 2017.

He previously worked for Oklahoma City-based Devon Energy as well as ConocoPhillips. Moore also worked for Alliance Resource Partners, the coal company based in Tulsa. He also had work experience with Xeta Technology and the Tulsa Technology Center.

 

He’ll report to OMES Director Steven Harpe.
