Casillas Operating reports 5 same-pad wells producing 3,200 barrels a day

Tulsa’s Casillas Operating LLC reported completions on five same-pad wells with combined production of nearly 3,200 barrels of oil a day in Garvin County.

The five wells are located at 13 3N 4W or about four miles south of Lindsay and close to the community of Purdy. Their completions were actually made in the spring of 2019 but the reports weren’t filed until this week with the Corporation Commission.

The earliest of the Bud wells had spud dates in December 2018. The largest had production of 963 barrels of oil a day and 5,413 Mcf of natural gas out of the Woodford formation from a depth of 23,012 feet, according to its completion report.

Another well with a December 2018 spud date had production of 617 barrels of oil a day and 4,712 Mcf of natural gas at a depth of 22,698 feet.

Two Bud wells had spud dates in January 2019 with completions made in May 2019. One produced 530 barrels of oil daily and 3,795 Mcf of natural gas from a depth of 22,921 feet. Another had production of 759 barrels of oil a day and 2,835 Mcf of gas from a depth of 23,073 feet.

The last Bud well produced 323 barrels of oil a day and 2,225 Mcf of natural gas from a depth of 22,958 feet.

White Star Petroleum ii LLC reported completions on three Dewey County wells. Two Petra wells were drilled at 11 17N 9W in the Cleveland formation. One produced 440 barrels of oil a day and 476 Mcf of gas while the second had daily oil production of 502 barrels and 2,146 Mcf of natural gas.

The wells are located southeast of the town of Camargo. A third Dewey County well located adjacent to those drilled at 11 17N 9W was drilled at 26 17N 9W and produced 342 barrels of oil a day and 838 Mcf of natural gas . Depths of the three ranged from 13,936 feet to 14,114 feet in the Cleveland formation.
