Kingfisher County continues to see more wells drilled and completed as the latest completion reports on file with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission showed this week.
Eight more wells were completed in the county that makes up the STACK including five by Chisholm Oil and Gas Operating LLC of Fort Worth, Texas. All five were in the Mississippian zone.
Oklahoma Energy Acquisitions LP, the subsidiary of Alta Mesa Holdings completed two more wells in Kingfisher County, adding to its long list of producers in the county.
Devon Energy also completed one well in the county.
Elsewhere, Trinity Operating USG LLC of Houston drilled two gas wells in southeast Oklahoma’s Haskell County. The two wells are located about 3 miles southeast of the town of Quinton in the Arkoma BAsin.
Calyx Energy III LC of Tulsa completed two gas wells in McIntosh County. The wells were drilled on a single pad at a site west of the Indian Nations Turnpike and west of the community of Vernon.
