Kansas Governor to focus on new state energy plan

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Kansas Renewable Energy conference started with breakout sessions, vendor displays and a luncheon that featured Governor Laura Kelly as the guest speaker.

The future of Kansas’ renewable energy pushes forward with advances in technology, new resources being discovered and state initiatives that are continuing to grow.

Attendees learned about the latest advancements in the Kansas renewable energy industry, shared challenges and heard solutions from industry leaders.

Governor Laura Kelly took the stage during the luncheon and spoke on her views and plans for renewable energy in the state of Kansas.

“In the coming months, I’ll be working with my administration, and with all of you, to begin the process of developing a comprehensive statewide energy plan.” Governor Laura Kelly says.

“We think it’s an important first step to address some of Kansas’ weaknesses along with our strengths.” Clean Energy Business Council, Public Affairs Director, Jessica Lucas says.

The Kansas renewable energy conference was held in Manhattan.
