While the funeral for the late T.Boone Pickens is to be held this week, the Texas Panhandle ranch he developed and loved is still up for grabs. All for $250 million.
His Mesa Vista Ranch totaling 64,809 acres in Roberts County north of Amarillo has been for sale since 2017.
Known as an oil magnate, philanthropist and big personality, Pickens put the property on the market because he could no longer fully enjoy it and hoped the next buyer would have similar conservation ethics.
Pickens died, at age 91, on Sept. 11.
