Newfield’s latest multi-well drilling site is in southern Oklahoma

Newfield Exploration has expanded its multi-well single-pad operations from Blaine and Kingfisher counties in the STACK to the SCOOP.

The Houston company received permits to drill this week at a site near the Stephens County town of Purdy where it plans to drill up to six wells on a single pad. The permits put the site south of Purdy, west of Elmore City and adjacent to state highway 29.

As OK Energy Today reported earlier this week, Newfield had one multi-well site in Blaine County with combined production of more than 3,300 barrels of oil a day.
