Devon’s success in Blaine County

Blaine county in Oklahoma’s STACK play has seen plenty of drilling activity by Oklahoma City-based Devon Energy. And it’s proven to be productive.

The company filed five completion reports in the county this week with production ranging from a high of 644 barrels of oil a day down to 331 barrels a day.

Three of the wells were on a single pad located about 9 miles southeast of Watonga at 4 15N 10W.

The Doppelganger wells had production of 576, 644 and 422 barrels of oil a day making for total production of 1,642 barrels of oil a day from the same pad.

Devon also had a well 10 miles southwest of Watonga and one about 1 miles northeast of the community of Greenfield.
