NARO members gather in OKC for annual convention

Oklahoma City is the site where members of the Oklahoma Chapter of the National  Association of Royalty Owners will gather tomorrow and Friday for their annual convention.

Business author Greg Zuckerman, a special writer at the Wall Street Journal will be a keynote speaker Wednesday morning. A three-time winner of the Gerald Loeb award for business journalism, Zuckerman will speak Friday morning. He will discuss his book, “The Frackers: The Outrageous Inside Story of the New Billionaire Wildcatters.”

The session will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday at the Embassy Suites Downtown.

The begins Thursday morning with opening remarks by Oklahoma NARO President Rick Howell and Grant Black, the NATO National Executive Director.

Chad Warmington, President of OIPA-OKOGA will deliver an Oklahoma oil and gas update at 11 a.m. on Thursday.

On Friday, Dr. Kyle Murray of the University of Oklahoma will speak on Petroleum and Fluid Management from the Oilfields of Oklahoma.

Corporation Commissioner Dana Murphy will speak Friday noon on the commission and “Taking Care of Business.”
