Gasoline prices go up again in Oklahoma

A slight drop in gasoline prices was reported in Oklahoma City this week while going up about 3 cents a gallon statewide.

Tulsa saw a ten-cent jump in prices in the past week, going from $2.50 a gallon last week to $2.60 a gallon on average this week.

Oklahoma’s overall average hit $2.62 a  gallon, up from the $2.59 a gallon reported one week ago according to AAA Oklahoma. It compares to a national average of $2.89 per gallon.

Oklahoma’s highest prices are in Harmon county in the southwest where the average is $2.90 per gallon. The average in the northwest is $2.77.  The lowest prices are in eastern Oklahoma where Nowata and Adair counties have averages of $2.53 a gallon.

Oklahoma City’s average fell a penny gallon to $2.52  according to GasBuddy’s  daily survey of 669 stations. Gas prices in the metro are nearly 13 cents a gallon higher than a month ago.

Gasoline prices average $2.55 a gallon in Lawton.

Oklahoma gas prices compared to $2.63 in Texas, $2.56 in Arkansas, $2.58 in Missouri, $2.64 in Kansas, $2.77 in Colorado and $2.78 in New Mexico.
