EOG Resources brings in big producer in far western Oklahoma

Houston’s EOG Resources Inc. filed four completion reports in Oklahoma this week and the largest was a far western Oklahoma well with nearly 1,200 barrels a day of oil production.

The Anadarko Basin is one of the company’s areas of focus in the U.S. and its efforts close to the Texas state line proved successful. The Miller 0334 3H is located several miles south of Arnett and north of the town of Roll (3 17N 24W in Ellis county.

It had a February 2018 spud date and drilling finished in July of last year with completion made in October 2018. Reports show it had production of 1,193 barrels of oil production daily along with 961 Mcf of natural gas out of the Marmaton formation.

The company reported two other wells in Ellis county with production of 558 and 495 of daily oil production. It also reported a McClain county well with production of 881 barrels a day.
