Gov. Kevin Stitt signed a proclamation this week proclaiming March as Flood Insurance Awareness Month in the state.
It prompted the Oklahoma Water Resources Board to thank him with a tweet.
“The OWRB is honored @GovStitt proclaimed #March as #Flood #Insurance Awareness Month in #Oklahoma. As the coordinating agency for the #NFIP, we’ll be sharing flood-related info. this month. Prior to storm season is a great time to check your home/business flood insurance status!”
