Sen. Inhofe says Wheeler is “perfect choice” to head EPA

President Trump’s announcement that he will nominate Acting EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler to officially become the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, replacing former Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt.

And it was a move that made Oklahoma U.S.  Sen. Jim Inhofe happy because Wheeler worked 14 years for him.

“Andrew Wheeler is the perfect choice to lead the EPA,” said the Senator in a statement. “He worked for me for 14 years, has an impeccable reputation and the first-hand knowledge and experience to lead the EPA.”

Inhofe added he has confidence Wheeler will continue to advance a deregulatory agenda that “protects the environment without placing needless burnes on job creators.”
