The Second Annual Oklahoma Women in Aviation and Aerospace Day has been scheduled for December 6 in Tulsa.
The event is sponsored by the Oklahoma Airport Operators Association, the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission, Tulsa International Airport and BizJet International. It will honor the legacy of pioneers in the Oklahoma industry and contributions of women to the state’s second largest economic engine, Aviation and Aerospace.
Two Tulsa are aviators described as “trailblazers’ will be honored. They are Nan Gaylord and Jennifer Wise. Both are FAA Designated Pilot Examiners.
The luncheon will be held at noon at BizJet International in Tulsa.
