Marathon Oil finds 1,000 barrel a day well in Blaine County

Oklahoma’s STACK continues to produce large wells.

Houston’s Marathon Oil Company reports completing a well in Blaine County that produced more than  1,000 barrels of oil a day.

The J and M BIA 1510 1-30MH, located about 5 miles northeast of the community of Greenfield (30 15N 10W_) had a November 2017 spud date.

Its production was listed at 1,008 Boed along with 3,875 Mcf of gas.

Drilling was finished in December of last year and the completion was made in March, 2018. But the report wasn’t filed with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission until this week.
