Tulsa’s Alliance Resource Partners to release earnings report July 30

Tulsa’s Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. , a company with coal mining operations in 5 states, plans to release its second quarter 2018 financial results later this month.

The report will be issued before the market opens on Monday, July 30. Executives with the coal company will discuss the results during a conference call at 9 a.m. Central Time later in the day.

Alliance Resource is coming off 2017 that saw a drop in revenues. For the year, its earnings totaled $1.80 billion, down from the $1.93 billion reported at the end of 2016. Still, the company was able to declare a 51-cent a unit dividend in late January 2018, which was a nearly 17% increase over a year earlier.

Revenue from the company’s eight mining complexes in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland and West Virginia at the end of the 2018 first quarter totaled $155.9 million which was an increase of nearly 49% compared to the first quarter of 2017.
